* The :manual:`cmake(1)` ``-E tar`` tool now support Zstandard compression
|
|
algorithm with ``--zstd`` option. Zstandard was designed to give
|
|
a compression ratio comparable to that of the DEFLATE (zip) algorithm,
|
|
but faster, especially for decompression.
